  • Dec. 8th, 2009 at 4:10 PM

If you were asked to recommend one destination in your country to LiveJournal friends who had never been to your country before, what place would you choose, and why?

Writer's Block: Top ten playlist

What is your top-ten song list? What was it when you were a kid? Is there any overlap?

According to last.fm (LINKAGE), it is...

1
Panic! At the Disco – Lying Is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off
2
Panic! At the Disco – There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of…
3
Panic! At the Disco – New Perspective
4
Demi Lovato – La La Land
5
Joe Jonas & Demi Lovato – This is Me
6
Panic! At the Disco – Build God, Then We'll Talk
7
Paramore – Misery Business
8
Miley Cyrus – The Climb
9
Panic! At the Disco – Time To Dance
10
Panic! At the Disco – But It's Better If You Do
10
Panic! At the Disco – The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage

Very Panic! saturated. I'd add some Jonas, Rocket Summer, Glee and other things to it. But apart from that it's alright.

When I was a kid? It would have been westlife, all the way. And S Club 7. And Mis-teeq. Oh yeah, I was cool stuff xD

Yeah, my music taste is terrible. Suck it. I'm happy xD

So It's 21:59 and suddenly I remember 'OMG BUCK' so I go to the room and in like a minute it starts xD. and so I tweet -

And I didn't really expect anything to come of it, was just watching and having fun and leaning back on my chair and then this happened 'In script form' [or something like this anyway]

Buck - 'Harlequinxgirl, oh hey vicky'
me - ~*sits up in shock* OMGWTF
Buck - You haven't been here in ages cos you're in the uk! Hey vicky.
Me - *shaking, losing the ability to breathe*
Buck - Merry Christmas! I'm glad you're here!
Me - *brain asplodes* aduirghaskjeg
Buck - *moves onto other more important things*
Me - *still fixated on the awesomeness*

and then I was fangirling in the main room.

And I know. To You, this is like nothing. But Michael is like my hero. This is so amazing for me. He is the reason I am still alive. He saved my life in 2008 just through his positivity and inspires me to be a better person. The fact that he read my tweet and, even more, that he knows I exists, and knows who I am and knows I'm from the UK, makes me so so so fucking happy.

And now I'm opping. This night is so amazing. First Danyl leaves X-factor, now this xD

So yeah, I'm so so happy xD

We've had this question.
And Laura. And She's my best friend because she has stuck with me ever since we were 4, even when I was a total bitch when I was 14, and we have a lot in common and we make eachother laugh and we are always there for eachother <3.

Do you put up decorations for the holidays? If so, when do the decorations go up and when do you take them down?

I LOVE christmas decorations. I would put them up as early as possible...like, today, but my Dad doesn't let anyone in the attic apart from him, and that's where all the Xmas stuff is. And Dad hates the attic, so we always have to wait until like 21st december or something.

They ALWAYS come down on the 6th January, cos it's Epiphany. (not that we do much for Epiphany. We just eat some cake. Which is every day for me. )

EEEK I feel all xmassy now

Waterloo Road Fail

  • Oct. 29th, 2009 at 6:39 PM

Dear Waterloo Road Writers,
I <3 waterloo road, I really do. It is a great show, with some fantastic acting and storylines.

But ANOTHER freaking english teacher?

After season 3, one english teacher left, but we were also left with the following gaps.

Only maths teacher - GONE.
Only music teacher - GONE
Geography Department - INVISIBLE
History department - Never seems to have existed in the effing first place.

I LOVE you for the addition of another french teacher, and a cooking teacher, and finally an effing science department. but still.

Pleease. How many useless english teachers are you gonna bring in until you actually have a decent range of teachers?

PS The fact that no-one seems to have told Mrs Hopewell that Karla has aspergers.
PPS New french teacher is a bit of a bitch. Reading 'Bonjour' is just as good for your language skills as reading a french newspaper. Highbrow is not the only way in the world.

Computer Fail

  • Oct. 26th, 2009 at 2:29 PM

Dear Microsoft,
I am unamused.
I refuse to pay £46 for you to tell me 'Bitch, you're computer's shit'
I know that already. I want it to be unshit.
I like apple better. I have you for sims,
No love,
Fallingxtragedy

Dear PC world,
I am unamused at you, too
£69.99 for you to tell me 'your computer's shit, buy a new one,'?
I could sell the screen and speakers, toss the hardware out as a bad job and buy a new one for cheaper than that, babes.
no love,
fallingxtragedy

Writer's Block: I'm sorry

If you only had one day left to live, and you had the chance to tell one person from your past "I love you," who would it be? How about "I'm sorry"?

I can't really say, because they are on LJ too, but they are the same person.
Or maybe I wouldn't. Maybe I'm done with them.
I'd tell them sorry,
The 'I Love You' might be better used on someone else.

Writer's Block: Take my advice

What's the best and worst advice you ever received? Did you follow it even if it ran counter to your gut intuition? How did it turn out?

Best was to always be positive, and then positive things will come back to you. I have tried to live by that ever since I heard it, and so far it works.
Worst was to do a-level maths, or to swithc from psychology to chemistry. Never should done either of them.

Writer's Block: Concert mania

What band are you dying to see live in concert that you've never seen before? Would you travel to a different city or state just to see them?

Writer's Block: Who's your BFF?

  • Oct. 4th, 2009 at 4:25 PM

Who is your oldest friend (i.e., the friend you have known the longest)? How often do you see or talk to each other? Do your close friends tend to stay the same year after or change over time?

View 1419 Answers

Laura. I've known her since we were 4. I can't even remember life without her, as cheesy as it sounds. We stayed close because we're both so musical, and went to SMMS and eventually EHCB together, and I love it. Even though I was kinda a bitch for a year, she stuck by me, and I'm so grateful for that.
In other news, i just applied to UCAS. Scary shit.

What is the longest uninterrupted period of time you've ever watched TV? Were you alone or with a friend/partner? Do you tend to watch more TV when you're happy, depressed, or simply bored?

View 719 Answers

I watch TV mainly when I'm tired.
Which, when it's me, is a lot.
But also when I'm bored.
